Issue of diamonitirion

After making a reservation on the site, you will receive a response from us. Look for our responses in messages in the application itself, not in your email! If you have a confirmation, that is enough - do not expect or look for other confirmations. Your diamonitirio will be waiting for you at the Pilgrims' Bureau on the day of entry to Mount Athos.

Issuing a diamonitirio is possible no earlier than the date of its validity, the morning before boarding the ferry.
It can also be obtained within the next 3 days. 

It is not possible to obtain your diamonitirio in advance! If you try to request it before the day indicated for entry to Mount Athos, you will be told that you do not have a request!

We do not issue the diamonitirio! We only submit to the Bureau the data of people who have already received a reservation with us.
The diamonitirio is issued by the Pilgrims' Bureau in Ouranoupoli. This office is under the management of the Holy Kinotis of Mount Athos.
If your data has already been submitted there, we cannot change anything about it!

In order to issue you with a diamonitirio, you will be asked for your identity document, the number of which is indicated in the data when applying (ID card or international passport) and a fee. Attention: if there is a difference in the data you fill in when booking, even one symbol in the names of people or in the numbers of their ID documents, or there is a high probability that they will not issue you with a diamonitirio!

For Orthodox Christians, the fee is €25, for non-Orthodox people, the fee is €35, for Orthodox monks and priests, the fee is €10.
